With the aim of maximising use of, and movement between, three floors and providing an agile working environment, Form set out to design sociable and stimulating spaces for the Edinburgh team.
Palette
Form Design Consultants engaged with Savills' departments to explore the benefits of an agile working environment, illustrating with space plans and visualisation.
The resultant autumnal scheme, blending the beautiful scenery from Queen Street Gardens with the interior space, complements the vibrant Savills brand colours.
The muted moss greens and burnt orange accents work with dark grey and bright yellow to create a warm and comforting atmosphere, with a strong brand identity, which staff feel proud to be a part of.
Agile options
Individual work spaces, plus window seats with laptop tables, were installed and a quiet zone was allocated on the lower ground floor for focused work.
An exterior courtyard with festoon lighting, for coffee breaks or social celebrations, completes the works.
The Savills team are a fantastic example of a workforce already embracing their new style of agile working, enjoying various workplace settings which had not previously been explored.
Meeting pods, sofa booths, high benches, project tables for informal meetings, touch down spaces and away-from-desk break out areas are fully operational, removing the need for enclosed meeting rooms.
