Following the recent rebranding of Royal London Group, Form Design Consultants were appointed to design new tea points and breakout areas within the Edinburgh estate. Form developed a standardised finishes palette that is both elegant and durable. Quality materials and integrated services and equipment provide an excellent facility: easy to maintain, robust and functional.
Royal London’s new branding palette and advertising imagery were used to create distinct spaces within the offices. Form also managed the procurement of the furniture package, engaging in a thorough review of products that provided different workplace settings, but also worked with Royal London’s brand.
The areas were developed to provide comfortable spaces to refresh, to meet and to collaborate. Staff uptake across the Edinburgh estate has been extremely good, and the breakout spaces have eased pressure on formal meeting rooms.
Form acted as Lead Design Consultant, integrating both services and structural design elements into the scheme. Form also worked with the appointed Quantity Surveyor to prepare and manage the tender process. Finally, Form managed the implementation of the design on site, leading site meetings and ensuring the brief was executed correctly.
