Volunteering Day at Harmeny Education Trust

The Formidables enjoyed a sun-filled day helping out in the gardens of the Harmeny Education Trust, on the outskirts of Balerno.
Under the watchful eye of the Estates Team (thank you for looking after us!), we managed to paint, fence, car wash and make a start on boxing out a raised path.
Building a new trampoline for the kids who are resident in this amazing school was almost as good as testing it out...
The Harmeny Education Trust helps children and young people overcome trauma and adversity, discover the joy of learning, and lead happy, fulfilling lives. It currently supports 26 children in residential care, also providing education for day pupils.
