Form DC was asked to developed a contemporary reception area that improved the street presence of the building

Form DC was appointed by UBS Asset Management to provide a variety of design services at One & Two Lochrin Square including architectural and interior design, space analysis, visualisation and statutory approvals.
A contemporary reception was achieved with the application of a crisp lighting scheme and a restrained palette of quality materials detailed to provide clean lines.
In addition, an external glazed canopy and illuminated signage strategy was designed, further enhanced with modern landscaping to the Fountainbridge entrance area.
Joined up technology
The ground floor has been developed to attract the growing Tech Sector within Edinburgh, with the CAT A fit out of the floor taking on a more urban aesthetic, and the typical suspended ceiling removed to expose high level services.
Space plans and computer generated visuals were created to help market the ground floor suite, which required Form to develop a Concept Design for the floor.
On the other floors, Form prepared space plans which illustrate how other tenants could be accommodated within the building.
In the basement, the car park has been enhanced and a shower block and cycle store created.
The design was developed to provide a continuity between the two office blocks, whilst retaining each building’s independent status.
