This new way of working allows people to allocate their time between office and home and improves staff wellbeing by offering structure, sociability, independence and flexibility
Variation
The design brief and spatial requirements were developed and Form set out how the new office might look with a reduced number of workstations and more flexible alternative work settings.
One of the key decisions was to provide a more inviting and engaging arrival space, as opposed to a formal reception area. A large coffee bar provides T&A staff and visitors with a place to relax, work, dine and entertain.
Flexible furniture solutions allow teams to come together to collaborate when in-person engagement is key.
A mix of formal, private meeting rooms, booths, informal meeting lounges and workshops help to support the needs of the Business.
Both the new Edinburgh and Glasgow offices follow similar principles.
They provide creature comforts we have become accustomed to at home, with the added benefits of social interaction, seamless collaboration and space to concentrate on focused work.
Feedback
Lister Square and Libertas House have been very well received by staff and visitors alike.
The choice of product and selection of contemporary finishes aims to set T&A apart from its competitors.
Form will re-visit the offices in the coming months to assess the success of this hybrid working model and its impact on T&A’s business and people.
