Royal London House, on the outskirts of Wilmslow, Manchester, provides approximately 18,000m² of office accommodation over three floors. Form Design was asked to design and implement the refurbishment of existing, and creation of new, breakout areas and tea points within the building.
Form acted as Lead Design Consultant and worked with the appointed Quantity Surveyor to prepare and coordinate the tender process. Form managed the implementation of the design on site, leading site meetings and ensuring the brief was executed correctly.

The design utilised quality materials and equipment to provide an excellent facility, easy to maintain, robust and functional. Royal London’s new branding palette and advertising imagery were used to create distinct spaces within the offices. Form developed a standardised finishes palette that is both elegant and durable. Form also managed the procurement of the furniture package, and coordinated the look and feel to work with both the new palette and Royal London brand.
collaborative space
The new breakout areas at Royal London House have created essential new meeting spaces throughout the building. The areas provide comfortable spaces and are furnished with products that provided different workplace settings to refresh, to meet and to collaborate. The spaces have proven very popular with staff and provide a much needed lift to the office interior.
