Balfour Beatty plc is a British multinational infrastructure group with capabilities in construction and support services, and infrastructure investments. They have recently consolidated seven offices at various locations, including Edinburgh, Glasgow and Shotts, into one regional HQ at Maxim Park, Eurocentral, providing 43,600 sqft of office accommodation over three floors.
Form Design Consultants were appointed as the Lead Design Consultant, working alongside RSP Consulting Engineers and Balfour Beatty’s project team.

Balfour Beatty required an office that reflected the various businesses within their organisation, and also brought them together to work collaboratively and share knowledge.
reception & meeting suites
The ground floor houses the reception, in the bright atrium space, with offices, cafe facilities and a meeting suite located on either side.
Each meeting suite houses training facilities, a digital suite and a variety of meeting rooms, all of which are named after the early hydro schemes that Balfour Beatty built from 1914 to 1946. Each room has a timeline wall and imagery depicting the projects.
