Continued expansion and a desire to work more collaboratively over one floor, led to a move to an open plan office at 160 Dundee Street

Form DC met with the Alpha Data management team to establish the project brief and to understand the key drivers for change.
Alpha Data were keen to break down any barriers between Management, Admin & Testing and the Assembly teams.
They wanted an office which allowed for improved collaboration, together with space to relax away from the desk.
The office floor plate flows seamlessly from traditional office fit out to workshop and assembly operations.
The hard landscape of workbenches, antistatic flooring and assembly equipment is offset by soft acoustic wall panelling, and large expanses of natural light.
Central to the space is a breakout area, providing a space to gather and relax.
Choices
Staff are now enjoying a more collaborative working environment, whilst benefitting from space provided for work requiring more focus.
Feedback from Alpha Data on the new office has been extremely positive.
