Hunter Boot Ltd was originally established as North British Rubber Company in 1856. The Company is headquartered in Edinburgh, with offices in London and New York.
Described as a British heritage brand, Hunter holds several Royal Warrants by Appointment as suppliers of waterproof footwear, clothing and accessories.
Form Design Consultants were appointed as the Lead Design Consultant and worked closely with Hunter’s project team to understand the business requirements for their new office space at Wescott House.
The new office provides an open plan working environment over two floors. The ground floor arrival space has a boutique feel with dark grey walls, solid timber flooring, Hunter branding and wall text that introduces you to the company ethos. The finishes throughout reflect the Hunter brand.
Two meeting rooms on the ground floor can be opened up to provide one large meeting space for up to 20 people. There are also two small 1:1 rooms for focused work or confidential meetings.
The office provides a number of spaces away from desks at which to work, incorporating write on glass walls for brainstorming. Informal meeting booths can been used for working at or having semi-confidential meetings.
The second floor has a large social space with a variety of furniture, from high tables and stools to low tables and sofas. This area is light and airy and provides a comfortable space to catch up with colleagues over a coffee, or to have lunch away from the open plan working area.
The overall feel is bright and spacious, and very much reflects the brand of this successful company.
